Who we are
CryptocyNews is an independent crypto publication. This privacy policy explains how we handle personal data collected when you visit our site, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us.
What we collect
We collect only what is needed to provide our service: your email address if you subscribe, standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referrer, pages viewed), and information you choose to send us via contact forms. We do not sell personal data.
How we use it
Email addresses are used to send the newsletter you subscribed to. Server logs are used to keep the site secure and diagnose issues. Contact form data is used to reply to your enquiry and nothing else.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which articles readers find useful. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to opt out.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to privacy@cryptocynews.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR.
Data retention
Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated on a rolling 90-day window. Contact-form messages are retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
